About Cloonee
Emerging from the UK’s underground club scene, Cloonee has become a prominent name in contemporary tech house, recognized for muscular basslines, direct vocal hooks, and productions built around the power of a simple, effective groove. His debut EP on elrow Music in 2017 introduced his sound to a wider audience, followed by releases on influential labels including Repopulate Mars and Solid Grooves. In 2019, Be Good to Me earned him his first Beatport number one, marking an early turning point in his international rise. Tracks including Mi Amor, Sippin’ Yak, and Stephanie subsequently expanded his reach, while his Hellbent brand developed a distinct identity across releases and live events. In 2026, his collaboration with Prospa, Free Your Mind, added another major record to his catalog ahead of his debut album, Are You Still You?, released on October 6. Featuring collaborators including Prospa, Chris Lake, and Chris Lorenzo, the album explores the different sides of his sound, from the late-night atmosphere of 3:30AM to the Latin-influenced rhythms of Movimiento and Menealo. With an approach that places rhythm, repetition, and crowd connection at its center, Cloonee continues to translate underground club instincts into music with a far-reaching audience.
