Sidepiece is the brainchild of Miami-based Nitti Gritti (Ricky Mears) and LA-based Party Favor (Dylan Ragland), who joined forces in 2019 to explore their mutual love of house music. Their debut single Wanna See You set the tone, but it was their collaboration with Diplo, On My Mind, that catapulted them to stardom—earning a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording and reaching #17 on Billboard's Dance Club Songs chart.
