About Two Friends
Two Friends is the Los Angeles-based dance music duo of best friends Matt Halper and Eli Sones, who met in seventh grade and formed the project during their senior year of high school in 2011. While Halper went on to study at Stanford and Sones at Vanderbilt, the two continued making music long-distance before moving back to LA to pursue Two Friends full-time. Their viral remixes of The Killers' Mr. Brightside and Blink-182's I Miss You established their reputation early on, and in 2012 they launched the Big Bootie Mix series, hour-long mashup extravaganzas that have now reached 26 volumes and hundreds of millions of streams with a cult following worldwide. Born on February 26, 2001, in Novato, California, Arden Jones is a singer, songwriter, rapper, and multi-instrumentalist whose serotonin-filled blend of pop, hip-hop, R&B, and alternative has earned him millions of devoted fans worldwide. Raised in Marin County in a literary and musical household, he taught himself guitar, piano, ukulele, mandolin, and standup bass before dropping out of film school his freshman year to pursue music full-time.
