Few artists have a shorter distance between their name and a sold-out room than John Summit and he is back on the deck at LIV Beach at Fontainebleau Las Vegas on Saturday, August 8th. Doors open at 11:00 AM.

Summit has been a resident across LIV Las Vegas and LIV Beach since the venue opened, and his relationship with the property runs deeper than a typical booking. Two years on, a John Summit date still functions as a benchmark weekend.

What to Expect on August 8th

An 11:00 AM open is earlier than LIV Beach’s standard 11:30 AM start, which tells you how the day is expected to run.

Summit’s daytime sets sit somewhere between a club night and a festival main stage: tech-house grooves early, vocal-driven peaks through the middle of the afternoon, and a closing stretch built on the records his crowd already knows. He came up through Chicago house and broke through on club records rather than radio singles, which is why the sets work equally well for people who own every release and people who recognize three and stay anyway.

August is also the deepest part of the Las Vegas pool season. The multi-level deck, shaded seating tiers and cabana options make LIV Beach one of the more comfortable places on the Strip to spend a triple-digit Saturday, and the northern Strip views do not hurt.

Two confirmed daylife dates remain on the calendar this season:

September 26th falls near the end of pool season, which historically draws a crowd that knows it is one of the last real outdoor weekends of the year.

It is worth underlining what residency means here. Summit is not flown in for a one-off date; he is part of a 2026 artist roster running across both venues all season alongside names like Tiësto, David Guetta, Dom Dolla, Cloonee and Sidepiece.

That continuity shows up in the sets. He knows the room, he knows the system, and he knows what the deck does at 3 PM versus 5 PM. It also means his dates work as anchor points for the whole season rather than isolated events, which is why they draw travelling fans rather than only the guests already on property.

Arrive earlier than you think you need to. On a headline Saturday the deck fills well before the peak of the set, and the best positions go first. For a group, a daybed or cabana is less a luxury than a logistics decision dedicated to service, shade, and in the case of cabanas and bungalows, a private pool.

Use the interior bars. LIV Beach is one of the few pool venues on the Strip where you can step into air conditioning without leaving or losing your spot, which on an August afternoon is the difference between staying to close and tapping out at three.
