Independence Day lands in the middle of the hottest month of the Las Vegas year, which makes the pool deck the natural center of the holiday rather than an alternative to it. LIV Beach at Fontainebleau Las Vegas is running the full weekend, Friday, July 3rd through Sunday, July 5th, with three headline sets and three completely different sounds.

Friday, July 3rd: Dombresky

The weekend opens at 11:30 AM with Dombresky. The French producer built his reputation on feel-good house records like “Soul Sacrifice” and “Simple Hit” that blend soulful vocals with Chicago-influenced basslines, and few artists on the roster are better suited to a Friday afternoon deck.

Expect a set that goes warm and vocal-led rather than saving everything for the final hour. It is the right way to start a three-day weekend.

Saturday, July 4th: Tiësto

The centerpiece is Tiësto on the Fourth of July itself, a ticketed date and one of the largest daylife events of the entire LIV Beach season.

Few artists have a longer track record of holding a crowd this size. Two decades into a career that has moved from trance to arena-scale dance music to the club records keeping him relevant with a new generation, a Tiësto set on a holiday Saturday is about as close to a guaranteed room as Las Vegas programming gets.

This is the date to book early. Independence Day Saturday is one of the highest-demand slots on the Las Vegas calendar, and a ticketed headline show on the deck moves faster still.

Sunday, July 5th: Devault

Devault closes the weekend at 11:30 AM on Sunday with the melodic, cinematic bass music that has become his signature. After two days of house and festival-scale anthems, it gives the holiday a different ending — heavier, moodier and better suited to a crowd on its third day than another round of peak-time records.
